ls crank in a b16

i was wondering can a ls acura crank go into a b16a civic and would it be more of a stroke and what all what would i have to do to replace the crank

No.

Unless of course you get custom length rods, which would cost more then your entire engine.;)

why would you put an LS crank into a B16 anyway? The ONLY thing that makes a B16 put out any power is it's high redline. Put in a crank with a longer stroke and you'll drop that redline. It's already called the Torqueless Wonder for good reason. It would be the Gutless Wonder with a longer stroke.

he is looking for more displacement via longer stroke, if you want a 1.8 liter motor just buy a used GSR bottom or build properly an lsvtec.

the deck height of the b16 and b18's are different.
