Turbo on 96 Civic Dx (D16Y7)
I was wondering how much hp i could probrably get if i turboed my 96 civic DX D16Y7 engine no i dont want to be flamed or to hear its a waste of money i was just hoping someone could give me a rough estimate and prob around what would be a safe set for psi boost. please let me know thanks
Around 50 HP at 6-8ish PSI, which is a fairly safe range on an un-modified engine.

5th gen Si is a D16Z6...
You could easilly run 11lbs on a stock D series, as long as it's perfectly tuned, but there's not much room for error since stock pistons and rods are pretty weaksauce.
