Default Check Engine light - Code 92 "HELP"

Hi,

I have a 1995 Honda Accord V6 EX and couple of day's ago my check-engine light came on. I disconnected the battery for 2 min and then connected back in and light dissapeared. Then couple of days later check-engine light came back on. So I read the code and it was "Code-92 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Control System Incorrect Purge Flow."

Does any body know what exacly does it mean and how can I fix it. I checked my vacum hoses and they seem to be in the good condition. If any body knows how to fix it or have any ideas please reply.

Thanks,
Vitek

It's your EGR system, i.e. the charcoal canister mounted to the firewall, do a search for troubleshooting EGR.

Hey, I had the exact same problem, you might want to try your gas cap i felt stupid after i trouble shot it and that's all it was. If your gas cap is kind of striped it will throw that light at you. The tank requires at least one 1lb of presure and it may not be getting that.
