im new to the hybrid forum...just thought i would start out with a question


any of you that has done the mini-me swap on a civic had any problems with the fuel tank pressure sensor (code 91)? this has been giving me fits for a year now

What year civic is it? What swap exactly did you do? I haven't heard much about a code 91.

I've heard before that with an OBD II car, if the fuel filler cap isn't tighened down enough (2 clicks), it will throw a code and turn the check engine light on? Might consider replacing yours, maybe it leaks? Seeya.

96 civic lx with a 97 d16y8 swapped in


yeah i thought the same thing...so i replaced the cap...nothing i think i have a leak in the tank...on the top cause i smell fumes in the car....ive been meaning to patch that and see what happens

Ha ha, sorry but that's pretty funny. Yeah, I'd get the whole in the gas tank patched first. Did you swap the trannies to or just the engine itself?

yeah..great pulling power in 1st...dead after that

100 in top of 3rd


4th barely pulls...i should turbo it i bet those long gears would be killer then!!
