Default VERY HOT cockpit!

my cockpit is very very hot, temperature wise, and i cant stand it anymore. when im drving on the the freeway it will start to heat up enough to get my phone hot if it was laying next to my hand brake. please give me advise. im either gonna go to kragen tomorrow and see if they can get some codes, or to my friends shop. if not im gonna bring it to some import store and let them check it out and charge me watever to fix the problem.

but does anybody know what might cause this. i have a 2001gsr, CAI, cat, exhaust. might the heat shield of been removed when the cat installed or the sumthin wrong with the obd1/obd2? any mechanics in the house and also will this be expensive to fix cuz damn im on a budget!

Shouldn't be expensive... Do you smell exhaust at all?

Regardless, it just sounds like you need some heat barrier installed to sheild against the exhaust system.
