Default First time at track with swap

Today was a beatiful day to go race, so waxed up the ride, emptied all the school books and seats, and headed off to the track. First run was against a 98 mustang cobra. . . .

Me ......................Cobra
(.370).......r/t....... (.373)
2.410.......60ft......2.365
6.444.......330......6.293
14.828.....1/4......14.444
95.49.......mph.....98.91

Obviously I lost this race but my time was better than i thought it would be considering my inexpirience at the track with the new motor. I ran a second time but i could only manage a 15 flat due to major tire spin off the line, i need to purchase some dr's and install my pistons, then ill be back

93 civic ex coupe (2440lbs with me)
Jdm b18c i/h/e , spoon headgasket, blown #3 piston rings:thumbup: Jdm Itr Pistons (waiting in my closet to be installed)
tires were Toyo Proxies T1/s full tread

Both of you redlighted?

2.1 60' should have you around a 14.3 or .4

some more practice and you'll be money.

try to find some backroads with no one around and do some launches.

no we didnt redlight, i guess its a .000 perfect reaction , They must have changed it, last year my reactions were at like .7 or .8, then i realized that they must have changed it. Yea im hoping for low 14's with the new pistons and dr's
There was a kid there with a 94 gsr (94000 miles) with a turbo boosting 6lbs running a 13.5 without the turbo (last year) and just i/h/e he hit a 14.7 on street tires, i think i could do allot better than a gsr with the same shit as i have.
