As I was driving home on the freeway , out of no where, the engine check lighted up. I pulled over and checked oil, coolant, and temp and everything seems fine. When i started the engine the engine light turned off. Does anyone know what seems to be the problem??

hehe....u dont really need to check the engine when the light comes on. its just an idiot light that tells you that your ecu is getting a bad reading from one of the engine's sensors. just buy a service manual for you car and u can check the code and find out what's causing it. you can also search the board on how to "reset ecu" and "ecu codes"

 

if the lights not on anymore then I wouldnt think there was a prolblem but if it was still on then you could see what code it is throwing and then see what was wrong with it ..but if its not lit up then I wouldnt worry about it
