differences between b16a2 and b16a1 longblocks
I was wondering if anybody could tell me, or show me a link to, the differences between a b16a1 and b16a2 longblock.
My plan was to purchase a longblock and start building it, but seeing the difference in price(at hmotorsonline, 900 for b16a2 and 499 for b16a1), I thought that if their isn't much difference I could get the b16a1 and build it then get all the necessary parts for my car. Remember, I'm just getting the longblock, then doing the internals, then I plan on changing it so it can have and obd 2 ecu, if that is possible
My car is a 1996 civic dx coupe.
Any info would be greatly appriciated

I already know a lot about the motors, but I had a few questions.
1)will a hydro tranny bolt up to a b16a1 without modification?
2)what things would I need to change on the b16a1 to make it work with a obd II ecu? (I already know the injectors need to be changed, but what else?)
what I am basically getting at is, what would I need to change to make a b16a1 into a b16a2 and work in my 96 civic, excluding the permanent differences such as the vtec oil squirters in the head and the compression ratio etc. I don't want to convert my car into non-obd; I want to convert the engine into an obd II.
I want peoples opinion on wether it's worth it money-wise to get a b16a1 longblock and then a hydro tranny and switch stuff to obd II, or to get a b16a2 and then buy a hydro tranny. I don't plan on buying a complete swap because for now, i just want the longblock so I can start building it.
