hey there everybody i just got into wanting to fix up my car and as much as i would want to get a smaller car like a civic or a teg i have a cr-v. i just want to know if after putting in a vtec head, headers, exhaust, s.r. intake and other minor mods if i would be able to take out decent moded cars.

 

What's your budget? How fast are you looking to go?
And what model year are you dealing with?

Hardly anyone has given the CRV much attention in terms of tuning.
Jackson Racing offered a supercharger back in the late 90s, but good luck trying to find a kit nowadays.
Any mods that will produce enough power to run with decently fast cars will not be smog legal and will cost more.

 

I am dealing with a 1999 and my budget is being produced as i come across parts. As far as how fast i want to go I want to be able to take out some pretty nice cars. Im not sure how fast that would be considered.What kind of parts are you talking about?price?

 

sell the newer car get an older one to fix up and it will be really fast get an older hatchback or crx and gut it swap it with a b18a or something and get a bad ass turbo or a shot of nitrous, let the car looking stock, stock exhaust to save money and keep it stealth for the cops, youll roll up out there lookin like shit but youll smoke some nice ass rides and make people really pissed
