B16A1 swap done, but speedo won't work?

Well I just finished up my friends B16A1 swap and took for a test drive and found out that the speedometer doesn't work. What could be wrong or what did I do wrong? The Speedometer cable came from a 1991 Civic STD, will that work?:confused:
