Default I'm I screwed????

I have a 94 integra ls with a 97ls motor with about 40kmiles. I have been having this problem for months and I still haven't gotten it fixed. Once I start up the motor, sometimes my engine seems like it is misfiring at idle and when this situation happens everytime i shift 1st or and any other gear, as I press on the gas it pulls slowy lagging at 2500k and idles there for 2secs than it pulls. When I'm driving on the freeway the car jerks like there isn't enough spark or fuel. I have spent lots of money replacing my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition coil, fuel filter, new ecu and even a new fuel pump which was recommended by my mechanic and till this day he still has no clue as to what is wrong. I can't bring it to acura b/c they claim that I need a new motor because of a broken motor mount which is bs. Here is the mystery part: if I leave the car not driving for two days after that I can drive my car perfectly for 3 straight days, then the problems that I have start all over again. The mechanic now doesn't even charge me for anything anymore and is still trying to figure out what the problem is and guys these mechanics are very knowledgable about honda and acura engines. They even do ls/vtec and are dismayed of how my engine acts up. It rides sometimes good and sometimes like ****, right now they are looking to get me a distributor for free to see if it will help or not. They have checked all sensors and wiring..nothing left..and shoot this is a long post. I'm mad b/c its been months of in the shop. Everytime i get car back it drives perfect for 3 days then it screws up...help anyone????

Is the fuel tank clean? Trash in the fuel tank could clog the in-tank fuel strainer and cause exactly what you're describing, especially with the 2-day delay thing, allows sediment to settle before causing problems again.

I know you've said you've covered it before, but it sounds very much like a fuel filtration problem.

I had that feeling too since the car drives fine for a couple days right after I let the car sit there but also when my car drives perfect and then I turn off the engine and then turn it back on, my problems starts all over again. how hard is it actually to take a gas tanK??? anyone else think fuel tank might be the cause??? oh yea thanks..man for giving some insight..

Sounds like a fuel starvation issue to me also.
