alrite i have a b16 in a crx .. and my goal is to hit 13's with it.. im assuming im in the 14's somewhere beings i got beat by a mustang doin 13's today, i had him until he hit 3rd gear then he jus pulled on me.. but anyway this is my set up.. i have a b16, gsr tranny (i kno i need a b16 tranny), the head has buddy club spec 3 cams, aftermarket valves, springs, retainers, intake, ebay header, and exhaust..

if you have a b16 if you wuldnt mind posting your set up and what you ran at the track, with your 60 foot time, and trap time, and what year an model car.. im jus trying to see what other b16's are running and in what chasis there doin it in.

 

go to the track and see what you're running first.

im assuming you just dropped those cams in there and didnt tune for shit? step up to a better flowing header that's not a POS, match that up with a nice flowing exhaust. tune the damn thing. and if you can drive worth a damn you'll be doing 13's.

 

my exhaust is nice my header was when i first got the car i didnt wanna look at that rusty thing.. and i am getting a edelbrock pro flow header.. and yes ur right, its not tuned at the moment, its because i want to get more shit before i tune it, but theres no reason for you to bash on me.. im jus trying to see how other b16's are running..

 

im not bashing you. just being brutually honest. if you cant handle that in an internet forum. you're not gonna make it in the real world. :wiggle:

 

i mean its not a big deal its w/e i dont see why imma spend the money now to get it tuned and pay for dyno time when im jus going to put more parts on it soon where imma have to just pay for more dyno tune.. i bought the cams a while ago but i jus got the valve springs, valves, retainers recently and only been running them for like a week or 2 .. but by the end of january it suld have all the other parts i want on it an tuned.

 

you asked what you need to run 13's. i told you. either do it or dont.
