Default Integra Engine swap! Pls Help!

I have a 1994 honda integra Zx 1.6 Dual Carb, the engine is blown and i need to swap it. Would a 1.6 DOHC Vtec engine be an easy swap? or would it require alot of modifications...

Also what about a 1.8 Vtec engine from a 1995 Integra? Would that be an easy swap or would it require many modifications.

Thanks

I think all integra's 94 and up are 1.8 liter. but to answer your question, the 1.8 Vtec motor will drop in with no modifications needed! just make sure that you get the engine wiring harness and the ECU!! The block code on the 1995 gsr (vtec) motor is B18C1 and The Code On the Head is P72.

I have a friend with a 94 teggy with an LS/VTEC swap and it's very fast!! but if you have the money, the B18C is the way to go... I have also heard of an H22A swap for this year, but it requires a lot of work...

your car has a 1.8 liter stock unless you bought it with the 1.6. i would go for the B18C1 (Gsr as you all know) get the engine you were talking about the "1.8 Vtec engine from a 1995 Integra" that will fit and it will be faster then your other one. it will install easy sence it was built to be in your car. good luck...
