i'm a noob to this forum and a noob to cars.

but i was wondering i have a accord lx f22a1 i wanna make it fast without blowing it up.

it has a coupple problems.

doesn't go past 3rd gear its an automatic ok ,thats a big problem.
it also gets really hot when idling and when it starts to drive goes down really fast.

any way i was wondering how i could fix those problems and get a liltle bit more performance.

The tranny prob is prob because of a solenoid or low transmission fluid...
The overheating prob is because ur fan's not turning on while it's idling... If that's the prob it should not overheat while it's actually moving through the air.

You need to take care of your car for awhile then worry about making it "fast".
