i want to keep w/ my all motor setup. juss lookin' for more HP, and found a guy selling this... *quote*
"Crane cams HI-6 Digital ignition Crane Cams LX 91 External coil Crane Cams distributor cap for external coil Crane Cams TRC (timing retard controller) Crane Cams 2 bar map sensor (for boost dependent timing retard function) - $250 shipped for the whole deal. OBO. Will not part out. " waht do ya'll think? i dunno what kinda gains i could expect out of it, and i've been looking @ this for quite a while. what do ya'll think? |
nobody has any opinion on it? Shmoo perhaps? West Coast?

Meh.
What do you need an upgraded ignition for? Honda ignitions are plenty strong, so you won't see much of a difference. Just save your money for something more useful. And correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like that setup is more geared toward a nitrous application than an N/A application. |

If you decided to boost the D, it would be one thing, but all motor is just a foolish waste of money. But with all my $.02 aside, the cam would be a better power gain than a useless upgraded ignition. |

Why not just an LS swap?
|
actually, that'd prolly be better. after all, VTEC isn't some kind of factory race add on :) i don't really need it. in fact, i'd rather not have it period. juss less stuff that can go wrong. either way, i still can't afford it :( the only LS w/in two hours of here that i've found was $400 for the engine w/o harness or anything else.
i did however hear about an H20 for sale locally for like $250... that could be fun. |
