JE Pistons or CTR Pistons?

Which one is more compatible with a turbo setup? Je or ctr? ANother question, which works better with a turbo setup, skunk2 or CTR cam shafts?
This is going on a B16. Any suggestions??

If you're going boost, you don't want anything to raise you're compression. You want parts that will lower your compression accordingly to your build, boost levels, etc.

CTR pistons and boost - NO
JE, CP, or other forged pistons at a lower compression ratio (9.0, etc.) - YES

CTR cams and boost - NO
A specific turbo cam from an aftermarket company or GSR cams - YES

Yep. Plus I think CTR pistons are still cast, and you'll want something stronger like JE that's forged to handle the boost.

are JE pistons similar to stock size? or do I have to do a bore job? Thanks guys :)

je and any aftermarket piston manufacturer for that matter have pistons from stock sizes to as big as you wanna go.

CTR pistons are high compression and are not the best combo with turbo.

IF you are planning on turbo, look into Forged pistons from the various piston companies. We often use around 9:1 compression most of the time, but we also go with 10.5:1 pistons in other setups.
