You put your tire pressure to what the door panel sticker says, not to what the maximum pressure the tire says it can handle.

actually, you use the tire pressures that the tire manufacturer recommends as a guide, then you drive the car and use your own senses of what the car is doing to set the pressures. the sticker on the inside of your door is there so the automaker covers his/her ass, not to reflect the numbers you need for optimum performance in a given situation. that's for the driver to decide.
