Default yay, went to the strip...

My first post on here in a while. Anyway, I was pleasently suprised. I didn't know what to expect seeing times ranging from 13.7 to 15's for a stock or near stock R. I thought I'd take my car and see what it did. I've had fairly good luck dragging my GS-R using the same techniques as Active Aero on H-T (before he wrote his almighty drag post). So, I took out the floor mats and spare and was on my way. I was too lazy to remove the seats; the R's rear seats are so nice compared to my old GS-R, I didn't wanna get them dirty in my garage. The track was super sticky so my normal "slight-chirping-vtec-launch" didn't work too well. It was either too much spin or bog. Arg. Anyway, I ended up with a 14.4@99mph. I was excited about the trap speed, but the ET was crappy. At least I know my car is making the power. I had another 99mph and a couple 98mph traps all night. Time for some stickier tires so I can launch harder.

RT: 1.259 (I don't care abour RT, I can get plenty of .50X's when I want though)
60': 2.196
330': (left lane wasn't working)
1/8th: 9.332
mph: 76.97mph
1000': 12.085
1/4: 14.404
mph: 99.44mph

here's my setup:

'98 Spec JDM ITR motor with 4.7 FD tranny
stock arm and paper filter, 3" Home Depot ducting (stock resonator missing)
JUN 4-2-1 header (2.5" collector)
2.5" resonated test pipe
stock catback
'98 Spec JDM ECU (throwing a CEL and running rich cuz of no cat)

get a good clutch and you will have a solid high 13 second car....the CEL from the secondary O2 doesn't make you run rich so that isn't the problem
