ill trade racks with you. i have a 95 civic LX with power steering.

 

You need a power steering rack. You need a power steering pump/resevoir and a place to mount and drive them. Better off buying a new honda with power steering.

did you ever do this? I'm planning to do this also.

 

tie rod ends popped, car jacked up, crossmember unbolted, panel under steering wheel removed, protective palstic boot removed, loosen teh steering shaft, pull it off (easier if you drop teh steering wheel, 2 points of support for that, easy to see when you are under there)

swap crossmemebrs with the racks instill on em. with the power steering, remove the rubber lines, and drain into a bucket. if the motor is out its much easier.

before swapping crossmembers you will need to remove teh rear tranny bracket. 3 big bolts on the tranny and one through the mount that is located on teh crossmember.

when teh crossmemebr is out, it will be easy to change that mount. its held by 3 bolts, and likes to tear if your car is manual and you drive it hard. you can optionally get inserts for it instead of repalcing it, if you haev a manual. if you have anj automatic, leave it or repalce it, depending on condition



I actually have a full powersteering setup on my del sol that I will sell very cheap. my car is being parted out and I of course have no use for teh powersteering system. has new inner and outter tierod ends, so upon install of the system all you need to do is bleed it and go to a shop for an alignment
