Honda Accord Lxi 89: trunk won't stay shut
The bolt was at first getting bent from years of abuse, but now I've bent it back, higher up to meet the latch when I close. Now the latch won't hook in to the bolt when it hits it. It will swing around almost into place, but only barely so. When I go over anything more than a mole hill, the trunk flies open - fun in the Michigan snow!
Should I shoot it with WD-40 or is there something more? Seems like an old car getting tired thang.
