Replace Fuel Press Regulator - Integra

Hi All,

Is replacing the FPR on a 97 Integra B18B1 a DIY?
Any tips to simplify the process? How about the need to relieve the pressure?
The FPR is very accessible and looks simple enough.
Is fuel pressure release a must before removal?

Any links with DIY steps?

Thanks

Super easy DIY. Check out www.deepstaged.net and www.c-speedracing.com for walkthroughs. (I am not sure which site but they are both good for reference.

Relieve pressure by taking off gas cap. Remove the vacuum hose from the top of the FPR and the fuel return line from the bottom. Then remove the bolts holding the FPR on. Replace FPR and o-ring and reconnect hoses.

It is as simple as it looks. But make sure you relieve pressure unless you like gas squirting at you. And make sure that you disconnect the negative terminal of the battery when working around the fuel system.

Good luck.

Thanks Shmoo!

The links are awesome. Exactly what I'm looking for.
After looking at the pictured steps, I feel confident enough to try doing it myself. Thanks for the tips. :)

Another tip is to keep a rag around all the fuel parts as you are disconnecting them so they dont squirt or drip onto other parts in your engine.
