Default tinting windows

i have a 1991 honda accord and i was wondering if anyone has anytips about tinting windows. maybe what liquid to use or squegee. anything will help.

i wouldn't diy because its probably not gonna look good and you probably don't have good tint anyway. the stuff you buy in the stores is crap its difficult to work with. but if you're gonna do it make sure you are in a dust free area and clean the windows well. also use soapy water and a strong squegee to get the water out.

the guy that did my windows lays the tint on the outside and cuts to fit then use's rubbing achol to clean the windows good

yeah you wet the window and lay the tint on it and cut it out. i don't know about the rubbing alcohol though because it might damage the tint. we used a mix of soap and water for the tint.

yah man soapy water will do fine youll also need a heat gun to finish applying the tint dont roll down the window for about one day

Default I've done this before

Hey I've tinted my own windows before, and I have some tricks. The way I did guaranteed no bubbles or anything and it can be done in less than 30 minutes for 1 window. I'm not home right now but e-mail me at cconfusionn@yahoo.com and i'll give you some tips or i'll check back to this thread later.

I say don't do it. You know all those cars that have tint where it's bubbleing in the window, or like half of it has already been ripped off.
All DIY's. I'm just saying I wouldn't do it even though I watched people enough to "know" how to.
