Default jack points?

where do you guys place your jackstands? (since you have to use the main jack points to jack it up in the first place.)

I use the front-center or rear-center lift points, then put stands at the normal jacking points.

yea jim basicly said it all. now the front, well that depends how low your car is. i've never jacked up the front of any honda or acura. we usually use hydraulic lifts. and if it's too low, well we lift the front fenders with our own strength. but there's a center rear place on the frame to jack it up. and on each side of the car there are 2 lift pads for a total of 4.

I have to pull the spare tire jack out of my trunk to jack up the car enough to use my hydraulic jack. Then I put jackstands on the side frame supports.

Under the radiator on my '95 GSR. There's an arrow molded into the bottom of the front lip, pointing to a squarish pad. The crossmember under the radiator is 'supposed' to be reinforced for this purpose. It's in the owner's manual...

The rear one is the towing/holddown loop.
