anyone knows how to convert a four lugs to five and what to try to convert my 98 accord from 4 lugs to a five lugs what do i need to get the job done and how?

 

im not toally sure but i guess i'll start this topic off. "five live conversions" are sweet.. you could start buy just finding like a salvaged crv and attempt to pull off the hubs and brakes. you could basicly use components from any 5 lug application from any honda or acura. this is a question that you could basicly figure out if you had a manual.

 

Find a wrecked V6 model Accord, preferably from the same gen. They are all 5-lugs, I think. If not, I know all 98-up V6 EX trim levels have 5-lugs.

 

I m just wondering, why do you want to swap it to 5-lugs? is it gonna make big different in anything?

 

Changing from four lugs to five adds 20 percent more holding power.

I think that's how it goes.

Plus you will have more variety of rims to look at.

 

Have you thought about wheel adapters?
They sell these conversion hubs that change your fours into fives.
