Default Painting/touching up wheels

First of all I have 16" Focal wheels on my car and they are just a silver color. When i bought the car the wheels came on it. Ever since then I've gotten a few scuff marks on them but there were also small scuff marks on them when i bought the car. I was thinkin as a DIY project to just touch up the rims but....Would the paint chip easily, I know I could use the high heat paint because i painted my calipers with that. I'm not sure what the coating on my wheels is but I'll find out, I think that may help some. Anyways if you've had an experience like this or seen someone whos done it I'd like to hear how it went and how it looked later down the road as well. I don't want my paint to chip because that will just look bad . Any help hints and tips would be great too!!

well for me i have black jdm itr 98spec rims. about a month or two ago it got some nicks from driving regularly or daily, the nick became very noticable, so i wanted to do some touch up on them, i asked someone what i wanted to do n he had told me n some others later that i can touch up my wheels with car body touch up paint. they said it is very good n safe to use on wheels just as long as the paint is paint for the car body surface. so i got myself some black touch up paint for the car body surfaces did touched up my wheels did 2 coats, before when the nicks were there n noticable the rims pretty much looked very used also looked as if it had chips too, but now it looks 100% brand new. my rims look perfect smooth n new now

Does Focal make a rim like that? I dont recall seeing anything of that sort on Focals website?

Also...I see Champiro on the tires...didnt know that was part of Toyo's line of rubber

I was thinking the same thing. They look like Team Loco (I think model #143) wheels to me. It just has different center caps on them.
