Believe me, these were generic Home Depot Bolt Outs. Regardless, I definitely agree with you on only buying the Craftsman.

I have hammered the bolt outs onto the bolts before and they are pretty damn tight after it's hammered. But once I start to unscrew it, the bolt-out just slides right off like it's unable to maintain the grip which brings me back to stage one. I would not recommend bolt-outs to anyone.

Have your tried heating the bolt, then using Vice Grips or a giant pair of channel lock pliers? Sounds to me like you might not have the right size bolt out.

I have the complete set of bolt-outs from craftsman including that carrying case that comes with it. I try to use the bolt-out that matches closely to the size of the bolt I'm trying to remove. I don't have a blow torch, vice grips, or channel lock pliers. Maybe I'll go get them if I find out I have too many rusted or rounded off bolts.

I think they're three different sets of bolt outs.

Your best bet is to buy a $20 dollar blow torch and heat that mother up.

Heat is the way to go. When using your bolt outs, are you using a ratchet or a wrench? A ratchet works best, since you can push the boltout onto the bolt while trying to torque it free. Get a torch. Where are these bolts at exactly and what do the hold?

These bolts sit under the rubber guard/lining beneath the car. There are two of these bolts that need to be removed in order to take off the bumper because the rubber guard/lining is attached to the front bumper.
