Anything to do with the immobilizer, I'd take it to the dealer first, because that is what any other mechanic is going to tell you.
No point in paying $100 bucks or more to a mechanic, just to find out they can't do anything, or worsed, dicked around and wasted your time.
IMM sends a signal from your key cylinder to your ECU, it's an antitheft feature, japanese ECUs don't have this feature, from what I know.

here is what i found...
Code: P1259
A problem in the VTEC Pressure Switch circuit or VTEC Solenoid Valve circuit
good luck fixing it
how to clear the codes when you fix the car???
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Remove the BACK UP fuse (7.5 A) from the under- hood fuse/relay box for 10 seconds to reset the PCM. ( back you fuse is on the last Thumbnail i attached....)

Save yourself some time and pull off the vtec solenoid and clean out the screen inside. You probably have some sludge build up in the screen which blocks Vtec oil pressure. It's pretty common.
