Default Maintenance required light in the New TSX

How do you reset the Maintenance required light in the New TSX? I took my car to the local Valvoline for an oil change and they said they were clueless.

Honda has always put instructions for the maintenance light in the OWNER'S MANUAL. I'd be surprised if it's not in there.

Maybe it's like 6th & 7th gen Accords - press & hold the odometer reset button while you turn on the ignition.

Did your brand new TSX come with an owner's manual :slap:

I looked in the Owner’s manual at the 2 pages that cover the maintenance light, no mention of how to reset it. It just covered why it was there, why and when it will come on and a diagram where it was. Where in the owner’s manual should I look?

On my Teg, right under the dash on the driver's side there is a blue button. You have the car running, hold the button for a minute and the light goes off. Should be the same for a TSX. Least I would think so........

Thanks for the replies; The true answer is to hold the mileage reset button down while starting the vehicle and continue holding it until the light goes out. It should not come back on for at least 8000 miles.

Thanks for following up with the true/correct solution. I hate it when people don't let fellow HANers know what actually worked.
