Repairing crack in grill?
Anyone know how to repair a broken grill? The top portion of the grill broke during shipping and i'm trying to figure out how to repair it. I believe its made out of fiberglass
Will that fiberglass bondo work with some fiberglass cloth around it?
Here's what the crack/break looks like
Grills still usable, its that lil break at the joint...
Also does anyone know about how much it costs to paint just a grill? TIA

hey xprincox that is more than a crack dude. you need to rebuild the top with fibreglass, but you need to try and make a mould of the top to get the right shape not sure how you can do that sorry.

ok this is what you do go to like home depot get this stuff called 4040 or 4058 its plastic weld dries really hard and dries like plastic then on the top part of the grill with masking tape mask everything where the grill shouldnt be cracked the from the bottom squeeze the glue and work out all air bubbles let dry for like 5 minutes this stuff gets hot so let cool then add filler and sand and prime and paint should be good the 4040 is like $40 and you need the gun cuz the bottles is like a caulking bottle so it requires a special gun but works good
