Default 87 crx wirth the trouble??

I can get an 87 crx carb'd for like 100-150 bills. Now what can i swap into this and how much work is involved? Now i know for sure that i would need an electric fuel pump. Can i put an civic or zc's in this or do i have to go straight for the b series engines? Also what kinda wireing/computer stuff has to be done?

Thanks

you can go with about any motor you would like in it. you can go to a d16 or a b18...whatever you wish. all you have to do is have the ecu and figure out the wiring, and any of them will work.

You have to do a complete carb to EFI wiring conversion before even thinking of swapping. Lots of work, pretty much start with a complete Si wiring harness and swap out all the fuel and wiring components.
