i have a 89 crx and was getting ready to paint it. I dont want to paint the moldings, is there anyway to get those cleaned up or refurbished?

The moldings as in the interior trim?

no, I kinda meant the moldings on the exterior. For example the parts that protect the car from shopping cart and the lower lip,etc. The plastic stuff outside the car that's not metal.

ahhh I understand now. I would think that an auto parts store would have a spray-on polish/restoration. I haven't personally used any products for that molding, though.

any pix of the whole car with those parts painted. I wonder if it looks rite painted or kept stock. Anybody else out there that has done a restoration on those parts and how y'all did it. Thanks for the current help, I'll go check out kragen

it probably depends on the paint job. My crx might have that painted, but it was a bad paint job and it looks tacky. I'm not gonna be able to get pics of it up for 2 weeks, though. Not gonna see the car til then.
