A good deal?? 2 CRX's?

My friend told me about two CRX's for sale for $500. So i went there to meet him and we checked them out. Not a good body at all. Missing peices from interior and engine.

Here are some pics of the cars.

This is the yellow one, according to the desscription it has coilovers. I couldn't really tell but its low. Though things I do know it has. A short-throw shift kit (still shifts amazingly). Both front and rear strut bars. 4 wheel disc.

This is the blue one. This one isn't so great. In the inside, the seats are ripped, the steering column is off, just hanging there. The ignition is missing, or I just can't find it. In the engine bay, the headers are off, but they are in the passenger seat. They also say the clutch is bad. Also the transmission is not so smooth. It can still go into gear (all 5 of them). though its just very stickyish, hard to move, and the back right wheel is obviously bent.

So what do you think?? We talked to the owners and they said they would go down to $400. So me and my friend are considering it, but it seems a bit overpriced. My guess for the value...Blue $100-$150...Yellow $150-$250

What do you think they should be worth? How much do you think it would take to get them back to running shape? What parts are missing?

The yellow one appears to have a B18A1 swap. Both have some serious rust issues. $500 each, or together? Either way I see alot of time and money being spent to get the right things done. If your willing to put some TLC into them then it may be a good deal.

These cars need good homes and owners. It sure would be a waste to see more CRX's rust out of existence. :(

Quick Please!

I need to have some answers fast! I think someone could be going to get them on monday, though i'm not sure.

They are both only going to be good as parts cars. If you think they are worth $400 in parts, go for it. Hinged strut bars are also useless just FYI.

do you think theres much hope for them to be running again? I'm not worried about body work too much, its mostly just getting them to run.

Why are hinged strutbars useless?
