Default 93 DX air conditioner ground?

I noticed this hanging loose and previuos owner stated they had recharged the air, etc. The ground looks like it leads to the side bolt of the air conditioner but is not connected. Can anyone confirm this should be fastened at this location or other?.....thx Jack

That is actually an important ground that goes to the valve cover... I believe you actually need that or the car wont even start!

Heres how its supposed to be connected:

Just loosen the drivers side front valve cover bolt, slide it on, and tighten it back up... (not too tight those bolts are pretty weak!)

The car will start and run fine without it, but it is good to have there.
