if I take my heat shield off, what could go wrong? thanks

More heat in the engine bay....but nothing serious....unless you forget that the Header get hot lol

Which heat sheild? Without the sheilds, underbody tar may start to melt/burn off around the catalytic converter. The manifold sheild prevents excessive heat build-up in the engine bay.

Although... many of us have takend it off due to anoying rattle and have had no problems.

That doesn't mean nothing will happen later or if the reprecussions aren't simply noticable for the time being.

IMHO, take it off baby!

thats what I thought, tar melting etc. but that rattle is freakin agrivating as shit and myn just keeps getting worse.
