Default 87 civic motor swap options

My civic is starting to show her age almost 300k and shes starting to burn oil and I wanna start making some plans for the old girl I dont wanna go with a b series I'm leaning more towards a d series I've heard thay fit easier and may even bolt up to the stock trans I'm wandering how easy will it be to bolt up I know some fab work is required and a new efi tank any help or anyone who has done a similar swap to chime in whould be much appreciated

You'd be better off selling it and buying a si of the same year. Doing a k swap is kind of pointless, when the si is readily available for not much more than the cost of your ex
