hi, the exhaust on my 91 civic hatch has started to rattle fairly bad lately, first it rattled off my short shifter, which i didnt mind but now it over powers the sound of the exhasut, i can find what its rattling off...this is driving me insane ...any suggestions at all would help thanx...oh and i've tried just lowereing it on the little rubber hangers and that made it worse so i tried putting it higher and again worse

 

Your exhaust pipe is too close to your shift linkage. Go to a exhaust shop and have them bend it out of the way.
