Got the motor in!
Well... we installed the throttle body and fuel rail while the motor was out. Did a little spot cleaning before we did the harness work, then got the dizzy wired up. Had the radiator and condenser out while we did the swap... had a new radiator for it anyway. Left the intake elsewhere so that's not on there yet. The passenger axle put up a bit of a fight, but I proved the greater between the two of us.
Anyway... here are the pics. SSAutoChrome header bolted right up... no problems with the exhaust ports. http://66.228.67.107/ex_voto/Wasteof...p/DSC00643.JPG She's sitting low again. That makes me happy. http://66.228.67.107/ex_voto/Wasteof...p/DSC00644.JPG You can sort of see the AEM fuel rail, and the TB is hard to see anyway. Had to use an LT-1 TB blade to make that thing work. http://66.228.67.107/ex_voto/Wasteof...p/DSC00648.JPG Well, I'm pretty damned excited. :p |
looks great :goodjob: hows it run

Which tranny did you use for your swap?
Looks good hopefully mine will go in easy too. |
Used my old Si tranny, but I have a spare ZC tranny with intermediate shaft in case I blow the crap out of it.
We start it tomorrow... still need to put the radiator and condenser in. |
did you have to do any mods under the hood in order for it to fit??.. if so what?... thanks
|
congrats dude! =)
|
right on, looks good. Let us know how it runs when you get it started :)

Nice... I just finished my swap (D15B VTEC), nothing like the pride of knowing all the hard work went into it, and then to start it up... Mine went easily too... Except I have no VTEC... But Id rather that then something like an idle problem alot of ppl have with swaps...

how about that good going
