rear main seal
 

Im changing the clutch on my crx, and when I pull the tranny out, there is oil all over the place, is the main seal the only thing that can cause this problem, or do I need to replace something else.

Most likely the rear main seal or could be the input shaft on the trans or maybe even the oil pan. Highly doubt it's the input shaft on the trans so check your pan gasket and oil seal.

Im going to change the seal and the oil pan gasket just to make sure, thanks.
