New??? Crx
Hey there, I am brand new to this forum and just picked up a 91 RX with 85,000 miles on it. A truly little old lady car. Want to do an engine swap or some kind of engine upgrade etc. but the car has an automatic. Is there anyone out there who has upgraded a DX engine keeping the auto? I am not going to race this thing, just want more performance and keeping the auto would make it an easy seller if I decide to do that. Am open for any and ALL suggestions.

Convert to manual and put a ZC in there if you want to go cheap. An auto is not going to make any real difference selling it. I actually have an L3 tranny left over from my swap that came in the CRX Si if you do decide to do that.

You are going to have wiring issues though because you have the crappy dual point fuel injection and you need to convert to multi point fuel injection. I am not sure about exactly what you have to do if you are swapping. Someone else might know.
