1999 cl 3.0 clunking sound
At about 70K, my 99 3.0 started makinga clunking sound when downshifting. It doesn't always happen, but when it does it it very loud and I can feel it. Any idea what this might be? I have about 80K now. I had the dealer look at it about 5K ago and, of course, it didn't make the problem then. I bought the car new and have been faithful about upkeep. Thanks!

Is heard only during shifting? What about hard acceleration or at startup? It might be a worn engine mount.
