Default Front Speaker has gone for a toss! 96 3.2 TL

Hello-
I have a premium sound system in my 96 3.2 TL. Very recently, i took my car for a wash, and one AH washed my speakers too . Accidentally he sprinkled water on my speaker and as a result, my front right speaker gives a hissing noise and jarrs a little. MMMMnnn....I'm looking to change this one now and donno what would be my best bet. Which one should I go for and is it easy to do it by ourselves?
Appreciate all your help.
TQ - Manoj

I assume your stock system is BOSE right? If so, you might be better off buying a replacement stock speakers....unless you want to change everything including the head unit.

buying a speaker from acura is going to cost a fortune twice as much as anything aftermarket i know with bose systems you like to keep them all the same but if your looking to save money.... i'd go aftermarket ummm as for changing the speaker... i'm not sure on the 96's but if it's the one in the door you probably have to take the door skin off it's no biggy to do tha tho

The front speaker lists for $53.25 from the dealer. Shop around and you can probably find it cheaper. I think it would be your best bet if you only need one speaker.
