Default Tire replacement on '01 CL Type S

Hi all, just joined this forum. I am looking for some recommendations on tires for my Type S. Somebody recommended Falken Ziex (don't really know which model). Any ideas on this? Thank you for having me here!

I've been happy with my Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. Try searching www.tirerack.com and you can read people's reviews of tires.

I've had some Kumho ECSTA ASX on my Type-S for about 5,000 miles. Very quiet tire...no problems in the rain..do not know about snow. Paid $120-130 a tire installed. No complaints.

Well, first off what type of tire are you looking for? All season, summer, etc.?

Once you get that, then deciede in what order of importance these are for you; performance, sound, tread wear, price, etc.

Hopefully, you will find a good tire with a decent compromise. I would check tirerack for general prices, reviews (on weather conditions) and brands. Pick a few you like, then find a decent local shop that will price match and carry a warentee, free alignment, etc.

When searching Tirerack, take the user reviews very lightly. A tires impression on someone can change allot depending on what they drive and more importantly, how they drive.

I have noticed on the tires I had previous, all the reviews were quite a bit different from my experiences.

On Pirelli's, i had the p6's on my prelude through all weather conditons, including a severe snow storm and they were pretty good. Def worth the money, fairly inexpensive and the best all season i have owned.
