Question about amplifiers.

Ok, I've got a pair of 3-way infinity kappa 6x9s on the way and I'm semi interested in getting an amplifier for them. I'm not trying to build a show system. In fact I'll probably just run the speakers off of the headunit for a while til I can get an amp. The question is, what kind of 2 channel amp should i get to just run these speakers? I'm on an exceedingly tight budget and I'm just trying to get the job done, not blow anyone away. Let me know what you guys think. . .

A decent "brand name" 50x2 amp should be fine.

what does your front stage sound like? its better off you amp the fronts.

ive got eclipse 6.5s that im very satisfied with in the front stage. I wasn't planning to amplify those, but I am getting a sherwood 60x4 RMS amp for all my speakers now.

i assumed you didn't have a sub, that's why you wanna amp ur rear speakers, is that right? you don't really need an amp for the rear speakers. you can just either power em from the head unit or simply unplug em. it's more important to have enough power for the front drives. for me, i would get a 2 channel amp for the front and leave my rear as it is.

I actually, I do have a sub, Im running two kenwood 12s in an isobaric box. It sounds really tight actually. I basically just want to amp the rear for the hell of it. The amp im getting is gonna allow me to connect all four speakers so im all set.

if you have had TWO subs already, you don't really need any rear speakers. well at least you won't be able to hear the difference. so why not save the money or spend it somewhere else.

infinity amplifiers sound really good with infinity speakers... they're a little pricey, but well worth it IMO
