Default How to install '02 Accord OEM headunit into '94 Accord?

Since my '94 Accord doesnt have a cdplayer, Im wondering if I could install the cd/cassette player from my '02 Accord to the '94? Since I have the Pioneer headunit installed in my '02, the OEM cd/cassette player is just lying around collecting dust. So how would I go about installing the '02 Accord OEM cd/cassette player into my '94 Accord?

The only problem that I can see with installing ur 92' OEM HU to a 94' accord is the whole wiring configuration. I can't remember off the back if they're both the same but it's worth a try! Do you know how to remove the HU's for both accords? After you've removed the HU, just simply see if the headunit fits the 94' wiring adapter. If not, you'll have to buy an adapter which is hard to find because they usually don't sell adpater for OEM HU's. Why don't you just install the Pioneer HU to the 94' and put back the OEM to the 92'? haha

Actually the adapters are easy to find, you'll just need two and here are the metra part #'s, 70-1720 and 71-1721. The 1721 will plug into the back of the 02 unit, and the 1720 onto the 94's plug. The only issue's I see is the mounting since the 02 doesn't have the same mount brackets as the 94, and the illumination since 98 and up use a positive and negative dimmer, but prior to that there's only a positive.
