Default Should I buy this amp

Rockford Fosgate 500s Info link
Its going to be powering one 12" Polk momo. I was just wondering if it will work for me, cause I could get it for a good price ($165 shipped) and I don't have a ton to spend.

All the stats are in the link.....500 W X 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS....1000 watts peak. I don't know a ton about amps, so I figured I'd just post a link instead of blindly putting down facts.

yup if the sub is a Single Voice Coil 4 ohm sub (which from the specs you gave it looks like), then that amp should be a very nice match. if it is a DVC 4 ohm , then you can get a 2 ohm load or an 8 ohm load, and i wouldnt run that amp at 2 ohm mono, so you would onle be getting maybe 250 watts rms to the sub. hope this helps
