if i had to pick from those id choose the 3 audiobahns and the boss amp. those audiobahns will probably pound ...but honestly you could get better for the money and those amps are all overrated most likely. if you let us know know how much you have to spend, you could probably get hooked up with a lttle better ish.

Everything that you are looking at is basically total crap - not trying to piss in your wheaties, but all of those amps will in no way shape or form put out their advertised power unless hit by lightning!!

Buy another Alpine, buy a JBL 600.1 amp, then find someone who can build you a good ported box and you will be well on your way to being deaf ;)

That sub will work fine, just add a second one. I don't even think some of those boxes you were looking at would fit in your car, and guarenteed that all will sound less then pretty.

I know it sounds like you want just SPL, but you shouldn't use your hard earned money to buy less then decent gear just for the instant gratification of it. That's just my $0.02...

What's the use of all that bass when you cant hear the other 98% of your audio spectrum(low/high midrange & treble..)

Might I suggest making your own custom sub enclosures out of fiberglass. Just an idea from a DIYer.

I am also looking to only use one amp i dont want to hook up more than one. I also have polk audio front speakers and jbl rears so im ok with speakers i just want a really pounding system for under 400 cuz im selling my r12 with box and 450 watt amp for around 200

Don't waste your time so you can just have occasional loud bass for competitions. Build your system right, gradually adding amps, subs, tweeters, and mid-range speakers. Believe me, when your car is loud and has deep bass, you put people who have their impressive HU and crappy stock speakers and built sub setup to shame. I'm not impressed by people's cars when they sound only like thunder. I want to hear the high pitched beats and melodies. When I hear Green Velvet chants La La Land or Paul Oakenfold's Starry Eyed Surprise, I want it to sound better than at the club, my own personal concert hall. When you achieve this perfect blend of speakers and frequencies, you're a true Audio God - not some car rattling-thunder-vibration-look I bought some big speakers freak.

I AGREE moofoo!!

You have to understand to get good stuff you are gonna have to spend money. Thats just the way it is. Save up untill you can afford better quailty stuff. Just because it looks like an l7 doesn't mean youll get the same performance. 400 isn't much to spend on a "good" set of subs and a good amp. You can do that ebay stuff but imo its crap and not worth the money. Youll end up with a boomy system that truely sounds like crap cause your highs wilo crap out soon or youll get the ear bleeding highs that some people seem to love...

if you want bass look at something like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18797
or even
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18797

Then look at a set of subs that can actually take that much power. Then do us all a favor and get an amp for the highs.
