iPod in my car...
I searched the forum and I saw some of the topics related to this but I still have some questions. I have a 99 Civic with the factory HU and I'm going to be getting my hands on an iPod in the near future. Belkin offers a FM Transmitter specifically for the iPod but I'd rather have a wired solution for sound quality purposes. So what are my options, keeping in mind I know nothing about car audio.
Obviously I doubt there is a mini-stereo jack anywhere on my factory HU, but what is on my HU that I can use? I'm looking for the cheapest solution possible really.

From what i can recall, nothing works well with a factory HU. You might be able to do something with the cd changer input. But i doubt there's any convertor for the ipod. Fm modulator is the best choice. sorry man
What about this thing?

I found someone else talking about it on another board. Is this only an Accord thing or will it work with my Civic HU?

Thanks for the link - that's what I've been looking for (including at logjamelectronics) for my '03 Accord, but either it's new this week or I missed it somehow. What you need for your Civic is this:
