Default Clarion VRX925 & VRX935 DVD w/ Monitor

Anyone here owns one of these DVD players. I am thinking of buying one but a local shop here in Seattle (CarToys) told me that they are not going to carry those units because it breaks really easy. I found some seller selling refurbs for $900 which is a good deal compare to $ 1400 on the other sellers. Kenwood KVT 911 are nice except it is way out of my budget. Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

if it breaks easily you're digging yourself a hole... you'd be better off giving the $900 to charity.

My advice would be to keep saving for the Kenwood 911. Or depending on how long you save for the Kenwood 915 which should be released by the Summer. Rumor has it that the 911 may stick around when the 915 is released and just be sold at a reduced price. Both units are definitely worth waiting for.

The 911's are about 1700 bucks now. Not that far from the 1400 you were willing to spend. Plus if you get it at Crutchfield.com, you could do monthly payments on it.
