hi. i think i burned out one of my crossovers, there this smell comming out from it. the 6.5 speaker isnt working right now. do you think if i just replace the crossover the speaker will work again?? is there anyway to test/power the speaker without the crossover?

 

Yeah, take the wires coming from your headunit that go into the crossover and put them directly to the speaker. All the crossover does is separate frequencies so you arn't hurting anything by doing this.

 

the speaker still works. if anyone has a spare infinity crossover, let me know. ill buy it off you, or if you have a different brand, ill buy a set off of you. thanks!
