CB radio
I travel on an interstate everyday on my way to work... I'd really like to have a CB... but mounting of an antenna seems to be the harest part. Anyone have any suggestions besides a "clipon" or "magnet" style?

there is really no other choice then those too according to radio shack.. i bought a nice 100 channel CB radio to use with my friends while we're cruising. Alas that was a huge waste :(

they have "cellular" style CB antennas, the glass mount type... not the greatest reception, but they do the job and look normal. There are also adapters so you can use the radio antenna for both the radio and CB, JCwhitney sells them... not sure how well they work.
The ones I think look the best are the small silver ones... only like 6 inches long and have a small silver base... they mount in the body of the car... yes, drilling a hole is required. Go to a radio shop, not radio shack... go somewhere that knows what they are talking about and specialize in cb radios. 10-4 |
